The complete service package includes cDNA subcloning into an expression vector, confirmation of a expression construct by DNA sequencing, colony construction, optimization, small scale expression, optimization of expression and purification conditions, expression of proteins from 1 to 20 liters cell culture, purification of the expressed protein by various chromatographic techniques, confirmation of the identity and purity of the expressed protein by SDS-PAGE, protein identification and protein peptide mapping. Optionally, in the case where a biochemical activity assay is available for the protein, we may also carry out such an assay.

By default, an expressed protein will have a FLAG tag at its N- or C- terminus with the use of our in-house developed expression vectors. We also supply monoclonal anti-FALG antibody that can be used for immunoprecipitation, western blot and other assays with a very low background. We also provide the option to remove the FLAG tag from expressed protein products, as well as to separate the cleaved FLAG tag peptides from the delivered protein products.
